More than 4,000 students, employees, alumni, and community members vote to select a mascot to represent ACC. “River Bats” is the top choice of four finalists, and R.B. the Riverbat is born. Like ACC, bats are synonymous with Central Texas: They are unique, intelligent, resourceful, and provide important services to the community. Today, the beloved R.B. delights students and friends at appearances at schools and events across the region.
