Supportive Housing Fair

Finding housing can come with a lot of questions, from cost and eligibility to application requirements and availability. The C.A.R.E. Network’s Supportive Housing Fair brings several housing resources together in one place so you can compare options, ask questions, and better understand your next steps.

Event Details

  • Date and Time: Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Location: Highland Campus, Building 1000, East Entrance

Explore student-specific, affordable, and case-managed housing options available throughout Austin and Travis County. At the fair, you can speak directly with housing representatives, learn about eligibility requirements, and ask questions about available units and pricing. You may even be able to complete an application at the event.

Student-Specific Housing

Town Lake Apartments

Housing Options: Town Lake Apartments offers one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom floor plans for students. Rates vary by floor plan and availability. Limited-time leasing specials or reduced rates may be available.

Application Requirements: Applicants must complete the online rental application and provide a valid government-issued photo ID. Applicants will also complete a standard screening process to determine eligibility. Depending on screening results, additional qualification requirements, such as a guarantor or guarantee waiver, may apply.

St. Edward’s University

Learn more about Casa Residence Hall

Location: 3001 South Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78704

Housing Options: St. Edward’s University offers on-campus housing for ACC students at Casa Residence Hall. Single-occupancy rooms are $875 per month, and double-occupancy rooms are $725 per month. Rooms are fully furnished and include Wi-Fi and Ethernet access. Residents also have access to St. Edward’s amenities, including the gym, library, coffee shop, dining halls, community kitchen, and 24-hour laundry facilities.

Application Requirements: Applicants must submit a $500 refundable security deposit and pay a one-time, nonrefundable $19.95 background check fee. Applicants must also provide proof of enrollment at ACC and any other required application documents before the application can be processed and approved.

Affordable Housing

College and graduate students may qualify for affordable housing, including full-time students who meet certain exceptions. To check if you qualify for affordable housing, visit the City of Austin’s resource page.

DMA Properties

Housing Options: $750 to $1,200 rent depending on bedroom size and household income eligibility. One-, two-, and three-bedroom units are available.

Application Requirements May Include:

  • Household composition information
  • Proof of identity
  • Income and asset documentation
  • Two months of recent pay stubs
  • Social Security documentation
  • Proof of enrollment at ACC

Case-Managed Housing

Case-managed housing can provide additional support for students who may face barriers to finding or maintaining housing.

Housing Connector

Housing Connector partners with properties and community organizations throughout Travis County to help individuals and families find housing.

Through its online platform, ACC CARE coordinators can help eligible students search for available multifamily properties that may offer reduced screening criteria.
